Your buyers ask AI assistants before they visit your website

AI search optimization that gets your brand cited and recommended

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews answer questions directly. When someone asks which provider, tool or product to choose, the answer names a few brands. The rest are invisible.

AI search optimization, also called GEO (generative engine optimization) or AEO (answer engine optimization), makes your brand easier for AI systems to find, understand and quote. We check how AI assistants describe you today, find the sources they rely on and improve your content, your structured data and your presence on the sites they trust. The goal is simple. When a buyer asks an AI assistant about your category, your brand appears in the answer and is described correctly.

AI answers build on classic search: most of them cite pages that already rank. That is why we work on both, and why a clean technical SEO foundation comes first.

The people you'll actually work with

Personal Services

We're Roxana and Vlad — co-founders, and the two people you'll deal with directly on your project. Not account managers, not a sales team, not "your dedicated success specialist."

I'm Roxana. I spent years in marketing across Mexico City, London, and Abu Dhabi before coming home to Romania to build something of my own. I'm the one who sits down to understand your business — your clients, your offer, what's keeping you up at night.

Vlad is the strategist and operator. He came up through international logistics and competed at European business finals as a student in Constanța. He's the one who'll break your funnel into 20 pieces until he finds exactly where it's leaking, and then fix it.

We work with you directly because that's how SEO actually delivers results. Subcontracting, layers of account managers, and "monthly check-in calls" don't move rankings. Understanding your business does.

And on SEO specifically, we have a clear conviction: you can do it ethically, or you can do it so it looks like it's working. We chose the first. We don't promise #1 rankings in 30 days. We don't use tactics that get clients penalized a year later. We don't pad reports to justify invoices. We figure out what actually grows your business — and then we do that.

Our team works remotely. The money other agencies spend on offices, we spend on the work itself. We watch every dollar leaving the company because we're entrepreneurs ourselves — and we treat your budget the same way.

If that's the kind of partner you're looking for, we're one message away.

How AI assistants choose which brands to mention

Crawling, retrieval, sources and trust

AI assistants build each answer from sources they can retrieve and trust: web pages, reviews, lists, forums and their own training data.
If your site blocks AI crawlers, loads key content with JavaScript or explains your offer only in vague marketing language, the assistant has little to work with. If other sites describe your category without naming you, the assistant will not name you either. AI search optimization works on both sides: your own website and the places where your brand is discussed.

We start by asking the assistants directly. We run the questions your buyers ask in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews and record which brands appear, how they are described and which sources are cited.
That gives us a baseline and a clear list of gaps to close, page by page and source by source.

Ask for an AI visibility audit of your brand

Tell us about your brand and your main competitors:

Send us your website, the market you sell in and two or three competitors. We will check how AI assistants answer the questions your buyers ask and show you where you stand.
Changes on your own website can be picked up within weeks. Changes in how AI assistants describe your brand usually take longer, because they depend on other sites and on how often each assistant refreshes its sources.

Why work with
Growwwise on AI search

AI search is new and changes every month. You need a team that tests, measures and explains what it finds. This is how we work:
  • we show you real AI answers, not assumptions
  • every recommendation is tied to a question your buyers actually ask
  • we plan classic search and AI search together
  • we report mentions and citations every month
  • one point of contact from audit to results
Many agencies added AI to their service list overnight. We test what works on our own sites and on client projects before we recommend it, and we tell you when something is still uncertain.
AI assistants update their models and sources often. A brand that appears today can disappear next quarter, so we recommend monthly tracking after the first audit.

We tested it on our own brand
We can do it for yours too

Before any work starts, we agree on the questions to track, the competitors to compare against and the AI assistants that matter in your market. You always know what we measure and why.

AI search optimization needs several skills at once: search specialists, content writers, people who handle digital PR and developers for the technical side. A small brand usually needs one specialist and a writer. A larger company may need a full team, and we scale it to the project.

AI search problems we fix most often

Most brands that are missing from AI answers have one or more of these problems:
  • 1. AI CRAWLERS ARE BLOCKED
A robots.txt rule, a firewall or a security plugin blocks AI crawlers, so the assistants never read your pages.

  • 2. YOUR OFFER IS UNCLEAR
Pages full of slogans and short on plain facts. If an assistant cannot tell what you sell, to whom and where, it will not recommend you.

  • 3. MISSING FROM TRUSTED SOURCES
AI assistants lean on lists, reviews, comparisons and forums. We usually look at:
  • industry lists and comparison articles
  • review platforms
  • forums and communities
  • news and expert articles
If your competitors appear in these sources and you don't, the assistant repeats what it finds. We help you earn a place there, without paid link schemes.
  • 4. WRONG OR OUTDATED INFORMATION
Old prices, discontinued products or a former address repeated in AI answers, because an outdated page or listing still ranks.

  • 5. NO STRUCTURED DATA
Without schema markup and consistent brand data, AI systems have to guess who you are and what you offer.

  • 6. CONTENT HIDDEN BEHIND JAVASCRIPT
Key text appears only after scripts run. Many AI crawlers do not render JavaScript, so that content never reaches them.

How an AI search optimization project works

In the first call we agree on the questions that matter: the ones your buyers ask before they choose a provider like you. We also pick the competitors and the AI assistants to track.

The first audit usually takes one to two weeks, depending on how many questions and markets we cover. You get a baseline report with every answer we recorded, so you can see exactly where you stand.

Prompts, Sources and Citations

We run each question in several AI assistants and record the brands mentioned, the order they appear in and the sources cited. We run each question more than once, because AI answers change from one session to the next.

The cited sources show where the assistants get their information. Some are your own pages. Many are lists, reviews and articles on other sites.

The result is a list of actions ranked by impact: pages to improve, sources to target and technical issues to fix.

The plan for your AI search optimization

Every project follows the same four steps, so you always know what comes next.

1. MEASURE YOUR AI VISIBILITY

We record how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews answer the questions your buyers ask, and where your brand appears.

2. FIND THE GAPS

We compare your results with your competitors and find the sources and pages that make the difference.

3. OPTIMIZE AND EARN MENTIONS

We improve your content, structured data and crawler access, and work on mentions in the sources AI assistants trust.

4. TRACK AND REPORT

Every month we rerun the same questions, so you can see changes in mentions, citations and the way your brand is described.

Google Guidelines and
AI Search

Google says there are no extra technical requirements for AI Overviews. A page has to be indexed and eligible to appear in search with a snippet.

That is why AI search optimization starts with solid foundations: pages Google can crawl and index, content that answers real questions and structured data that describes your business correctly.

Other assistants publish their own rules. OpenAI and Perplexity document their crawlers, such as OAI-SearchBot, GPTBot and PerplexityBot, and explain how site owners can allow or block them. We check these settings on your site so the right crawlers get access.

We avoid tricks that promise instant results in AI answers: hidden text for crawlers, fake reviews or mass-produced pages. They break search guidelines and can damage how both Google and AI assistants see your brand.

AI search optimization questions,
answered

These are the questions we hear most often from brands that want to appear in AI answers. If yours is not on the list, send it to us together with your website address.

1. What is AI search optimization?

It is the work of making your brand visible in answers from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. It covers your content, your technical setup, your structured data and your presence on the sites these assistants use as sources.

2. Is AI search optimization the same as GEO or AEO?

Mostly, yes. GEO (generative engine optimization), AEO (answer engine optimization) and LLM optimization are different names for the same goal: being cited and recommended in AI generated answers.

3. How is it different from classic search optimization?

Classic search optimization aims for a high position in a list of links. AI search optimization aims for a mention inside the answer itself. The two overlap: AI assistants often rely on pages that already rank well, so a strong organic foundation still matters.

4. Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my brand?

No one can guarantee that. AI answers change from one session to another and depend on sources outside your control. What we can do is measure your visibility, improve the factors that influence it and report the changes every month.

5. How do you measure visibility in AI search?

We run a fixed set of questions in several AI assistants, more than once, and record mentions, the order of brands, how your brand is described and which sources are cited. Repeating the same questions every month shows the trend.

6. How long does it take to see results?

Fixes on your website, such as unblocking AI crawlers or adding structured data, can be picked up within weeks. Earning mentions on trusted sites and changing how assistants describe your brand usually takes several months.

7. Should I allow or block AI crawlers?

It depends on your goals. If you want to appear in AI answers, the crawlers used for search and retrieval need access to your public pages. We review your robots.txt and server rules and explain the trade-offs for each crawler.

8. What is llms.txt and do I need it?

llms.txt is a proposed file that gives AI tools a short, structured overview of your site. Support for it is still limited, so we treat it as a low-cost extra, not as a ranking factor.

9. How much does AI search optimization cost?

It depends on the number of markets, competitors and questions we track, and on how much content and outreach work is needed. We send a fixed quote after the free AI visibility audit.

10. Which businesses benefit most?

Businesses whose buyers research before they choose: B2B services, software, ecommerce, healthcare, finance and local service providers. If your customers ask which provider is the best, AI search already shapes their decision.
